NeuSheild Radiation prevents Single Event Upsets

Single Event Upsets are a problem in the design of Coal Mining Equipment due to the natural inherent radioactive elements in Coal. Now there is a solution from Hybrid Plastics.

Hybrid Plastics has released a new line of radiation shielding for your electronics, and even your face.

You can get their NeuSheild material in several formats: Plastic caps, glue sticks, Duct Tape, and Mascara (Sun Screen). The Duct Tape is meant for Wiring Harnesses. The Plastic Caps are for your memory chips to prevent Single Event Upsets.

The Missile Defense Agency just put out their Fall 2007 Quarterly TechUpdate, that covers NeuSheild on page five and eleven: "Material Stops Cosmic Rays".
